AUDITIONS
After our May production, we will be holding a read through and auditions for our 11-15 November production of Alan Ayckbourn’s dramatic comedy, TABLE MANNERS. The read through is at 7:30 pm on Thursday, 22 May in the small hall, followed by auditions on Thursday, 29 May in the small hall, 8:00 pm at St John’s Hall Churchdown GL3 2DB. ALL WELCOME.
Cast 3m, 3f. Synopsis: In this play, Annie has arranged to spend an illicit weekend with her sister Ruth’s husband Norman, and for this reason, suitably disguised, has asked her elder brother Reg and his wife Sarah to look after their widowed mother and the house. As it happens, the seduction, thought or planned, by each of the six characters never takes place either.
Table Manners is part of The Norman Conquests trilogy.

Our productions are for 5 nights and always start on the second Tuesday of May and on the second Tuesday of November, running through to the Saturday.
Rehearsals usually take place on a Thursday with some Monday evenings depending on the number of rehearsals required. A rehearsal schedule will be issued specifically for each show.
Alternatively, if you’re not looking to be involved in productions but would still like to support the society, you can become an associate member and benefit from the society newsletter, social events and priority booking for each production.
